Greenwood Miracle League was formed in the spring of 2007.  A brand new rubberized field was constructed that allowed access by walkers, wheelchairs and crutches.  Over 40 players were on the original 4 teams; Braves, Dodgers, Red Sox and Yankees.  "Burton Field" is located on the Burton Center For Disabilities and Special Needs site at 2605 Hwy. 72/221 E. in Greenwood, SC.

Games are played on Saturday mornings in April and May, and again during the month of September.  "Buddies" assist players with batting, fielding and running. Our buddies include church and civic groups, Little League, High School and college sports teams, as well as local business and industries.
