GREENWOOD MIRACLE LEAGUE  

Greenwood Miracle League is a youth sports league that gives special needs and disabilities children of Greenwood, SC and surrounding areas an opportunity to play in an organized baseball league. Our motto is “every child deserves a chance to play baseball.”   We began in the spring of 2007 with 40 players.  We have grown to over 80 players on 4 teams; Braves, Dodgers, Red Sox and Yankees.  Our player ages range from 4 to 19.  All players enjoy the assistance of their "buddy" that asssists them with hitting, fielding and running (or rolling) the bases, giving parents an opportunity to cheer for their players as they play the great game of baseball.  All games are played at the Burton Center in Greenwood on a special rubberized field that can accommodate walkers, crutches ad wheelchairs of all sizes.  Our spring season begins in April and runs through the last Saturday in May.   Fall season runs through the month of September
